I have heard one of these is going in near the KY horsepark. Do you all think it will do ok. Does people use those, better yet would they use it that close to the horsepark?

We like to go camping with our pop up and I've looked into some KOA campgrounds but have never used them. From what I've learned about them, it seems those campgrounds are more like staying at a motel but using your camper instead of "camping". I imagine that a lot of those people you hear about that use their big RV's to travel across country use them. I know that most of the times when you see those big RV's at state park campgrounds and whatnot, you rarely see the people. They tend to stay inside a lot. So I'd say that they'd get a lot of business from that crowd.

I have stayed in a KOA campground on a couple of occasions. While I think they are a little pricey, they do have some additional features not available in state or national parks or forest. I have camped at the KOA in Pigon Forge, Nashville, and a couple in the west. When my children were young and money tight we would take the camper on vacation and stay at the KOAs because of the swimming pools, very clean showers, and playgrounds.

Not only will people use it, I bet there will be certain times of the year when it will be filled to capacity for events like Rolex and the WEGs.
