I picked up some ammo today. The end flap is marked "BEB". They look to be brass jacketed. What does the "BEB" stand for?

The low priced ammo was at a Cincinnati Miejers store. But I got all the 9mm and .40 they had. 8 boxes of .40...:D

I've seen the Meijer's here in L'ville have some really good prices on their ammo at times when they want to clear it out. But you have to catch it at the right time. Usually when I see it, the ammo I use is all gone.

i ran into a similiar deal at louisville area walmarts a few years ago. they clearanced out some 150gr 30-06 Federal Premiums down to 8.86 a box. i bought 14 and my father-inlaw bought a good 10-12 boxes. we bought every box we could find at that price.

My wife always thinks its strange that if we are at a place that sells ammo I HAVE to cruise that isle and see what is on sale....she thinks it's even stranger that I get all excited once in awhile and spend like $500 on a bunch of 'good deal' ammo when I, "Already have all of those boxes of bullets at home."

It wasn't too many years ago that I was mail-ordering 9mm CCI Blazers for 3.99 a box. At that time you couldn't reload 9mm any cheaper than buying it. Same Blazer ammo is what, 9 bucks a box mail order now? :(

Wish I had a few cases of it stashed away.
