Hey guys, Im in the market for a new utility ATV, the old one has had the lick. Just need something I can trail ride with and use for hunting purposes. I've always been a Honda man, and Im giving the Foremans their due, BUT I can get a really good deal on a 08' Arctic Cat 400. Im not real picky, however, I am most concerned with having a fourwheeler thats durable and isn't prone to messing up and being in need of repair all the time, (as was the case with my old polaris). For those of you who have experience with them, what do you think about Arctic Cat Atv's? Im a little concerned since their a newer Atv company, (they still use suziki motors). Thanks ahead of time for your reply's.

I got an 03 Honda Rincon 650 that'll I'm fixing to clean up and sell. Not a thing wrong with it but got a new baby and not gonna get much hunting done this year. Too nice a ride to sit in my shed and depreciate till I can ride it again. 716 miles and 131 hours. Needs tires and an oil change. $3400.00 FIRM Let me know if interested. It's not this clean right now.

There is a good write up in this months ATV Magazine, Seem to be a well built machine. All the bikes in the artic cat line good decent reviews. I ride with a buddy who has a 2007 and it does well,...... Almost keeps up with my Brute Force!!!!

I've got a buddy who has an 07 600 Arctic Cat. He has numerous problems and has ridden it VERY little.
For my money, I would look elsewhere. A SBS would be nice. Short of that I would look at the new Grizzly with the power steering. Then again, hard to go wrong with a Honda. Mine is an 04 Rubicon 500 and I haven't had the first issue with it.

Last time I checked Artic Cat makes there on motors nows but I'm like everyone else you can't go wrong with a honda and I've had good luck with Kawasaki too.

buy a honda, you can get a brand new 500 4x4 foreman at southern honda for 5 grand.... check em out, southernhonda.com
i ride with all brands, arctic cat guys have a heckuva lot more trouble than honda's..
i'd never own a side by side.... i couldn't get that sucker anywhere when i owned one, wouldn't fit anywhere

Ended up going with the honda. I really liked the new ranchers. They have made the body more compact and upgraded from a 350 to a 420 motor. I do a lot of trail riding and I've always been a fan of a smaller more compact atv. It suits my needs.

It will never be this clean again;). Sorry for the huge pic, not good with re-sizing.

lol, thats the old polaris 250 2-stroke. Im not gonna hate on it though, it's pulled me through the roughest eastern Ky mountain trails right along with the rest of the pack. She just starting getting sick easier in her old age.

Yea, I was a little skeptical at first. I know the old ranchers don't have the best reputations. I have some friends who are big time riders, one was just names the head of our ATV adventure tourism group, and he said these new ranchers were good bikes, a couple members had them and they held up really well.

Dang, don't be doggin on Joanie Dirt like that. EKYMTNHNTR: Go ahead and get a spare set of tires. Stock Hondas' ain't worth the oil it takes to make them.

don't the 420 even have efi, i looked at those when they first came out.. but both times i went back to saying, that the old honda's were great, nothing on them that didn't have to be, no water pumps, minimal electronics, no fuel pumps, so thats why i chose my 500 foreman
