Glad to see some poults this year. These are the first pics of poults I have gotten this year. We needed a good hatch this year because the last two have been bad in my area.

That image of a bearded hen and her brood, is a perfect example, of why not to shoot a bearded hen in the spring. Thanks for sharing.

Cool -- the way the turkeys kept on breeding this year it should help out with the hatches and help the flocks grow

10 poults? Nice, and a couple with the other hen. I hope they all make it, but probably about 4 will make it to adulthood.

There are plenty of places in the state that NEED the hen population thinned out. I wouldn't feel bad about shooting a bearded hen at all.
