Sold my Fur at KY auction

Me and my buddy headed down yeaterday. I took 8 yotyes, 9 coons, 3 possums, and 1 red for a total of 21 pelts. I brought home 150.00 dollars.

My prices were:

Yotes= best 24.00, flat yotes 9.00, and rubbed 8.00
Coons= best 8.00, medium 5.00, and worst 1.00 (they were stretched too wide)
possums= 2 jumbos brought 2.00 and the small one .75
My fox only brought 8.50.

The overall prices I heard on well put up pelts was:
Coyotes 18.00-20.00
grey fox 17.00- 24.00
red fox 15.00-25.00
coon 10.00-16.00
cats 50.00-80.00 skinned or frozen
rats- 1.00-2.00
mink 7.00-14.00
possum 1.00-2.00
beaver- 5.00-10.00

I was hoping you'd do better than that. Those prices are pretty disappointing to me. I just knew that with all the buyers up there that the prices would do better. I've been tickled pink selling unskinned coyotes for 10.00 and small unskinned coons for 5.00. Oh well, after all, it's not the money we're after its the excitement of outsmarting the fur.
