Buddy and I Won the Pound Lake Bass tourney

We had a awesome night on the lake. The tourney was 8pm Saturday Night til 8am Sunday Morning. Pound has a slot limit. You can keep largemouth and smallmouth 10 inches up to 13 7/8. You must turn back 14 inches to 17 7/8. And keep 18 and above. Its a little confusing, lol. I had to turn back 4 fish that was over 15. 2 were 15 1/2, 1 was 16, and the other was a little over 17. We caught them on a texas rig, using a tassel tail worm with a 3/16 ounce sinker. And at day break caught 2 on a white spinnerbait. We ended up winning the tourney on 6 pounds do to the slot limit. We had 5 fish. My buddy also had big fish with a Spot that was 15 1/2 inches. Almost 2 pounds. You can keep spots 10 inches or better. If you guys ever get a chace to fish Pound Lake, Virginia don't pass it up. They are also muskie, walleye and come good crappie in the lake. Its a idol speed only lake as well.

thanks man, yeah it was fun. That makes the 3rd tourney we have won. We won 2 on Fishtrap, Ky and the Pound Lake, Virginia. Pound Lake is only about an hour away from me, I am gonna try to fish it again this weekend

Just for the record, I am a "she", but no biggie...you had no way of knowing. Good luck fishing that lake this weekend. Hope they're still biting for you. ;)

Oh i'm sorry about that. I feel like i am 2 foot tall now, lol. Well thanks again. We actually just got back from the Tuesday Night tourney on fishtrap and won tonight with a 2 pound 4 ounce fish
