I have never caught a cat but have never tried nor do we have a lot of cats in my area. But, I have read alot about them. I have read that a big blown out dirthole set with some visual attractors such as feathers and a good cat gland lure will take its fair share of cats.
Cat prices are usually pretty good, especially if you sell to the taxidermy trade. I think usually around 40.00 to 50.00 bucks. I'm not real sure though. Grey fox are doing pretty good this year with tops around 15.00 to 20.00. Mink go abotu 5.00 for a female and 10.00 for a goo buck mink.

Deer Hunter,
It's fairly easy to trap cats. The main thing is knowing that you have cats in the area. The last one I got was after a snow. I tracked it in the snow to where it walked a log across a creek, set a snare and had it the next morn. Many other ways also.

You know back when I was traping in the mid 70's . Bob Cats was bringing $85. Gray Fox $60. Mink $35. Coon $15 to $30. Musk Rat I think was $5 to $10.
