It wouldn't have been shut down if GW or Jesus Christ was the theme.

what flavor is your Kool-Aid? You do understand that he has the LOWEST approval rating of any president in history, as well as the HIGHEST disapproval rating? And exactly what does "demo-cons" mean?

Actually Nixon was lower at one point, still point taken. Most people DO NOT like Bush. I can't think of the last time I heard anybody say something good about the guy.

Also at one point during his presidency he had the highest approval rating of any President in our history. Mainstream media controls those numbers if they tried hard enough even Obama could be popular.

actually he had the highest approval rating because the country was whipped up in such a patriotic stupor that it was wrong to say anything bad about the good ol' US of A.
Think back about the political climate of this country in Q4 2001. I mean, jeez they passed the USAPATRIOT act without even reading it.

Your point is????????? Who cares about the climate, just admit that it is also a valid fact.

it is a valid fact I admit, I just consider it irrelevant. At that point in time, hypothetical President Bullwinkle the Moose would've had the same numbers. In re-reading GSPonGrouse's post, I realize we are saying the same thing.

So now you agree that the fact that W's approval rating being so low is irrelevant.

I did not realize that I was patting myself on the back. But I am amazed that can read 3 sentences that I have posted on this subject and draw a conclusion that I have no comprehension of the subject. When I reread them all it says to me is I do not use the numbers or propaganda spat out by the main stream media as a bases for any judgment.

Back on subject. I agree with the fact that if it was a art show depicting the "untimely death of W or Jesus. That got shut down they would be having a sit-in taking place in front of the police station.

Ive mention this before on another thread, but ratings are a little over rated in the great schemes of things. Take ole Abe Lincoln, he was one of the most hated presidents ever during his presidency. But how do we regard him today, clebrating his 200th b-day. Im not trying to say GW is a Lincoln by any means, but history has a way of erasing or making us forgeting the bad things and remembering the good.

It is irrelevant considering how terrible of a leader he turned out to be, and the fact that it didn't take him long at all to receive the coveted "worst president ever" award.

See Xi didn't need anyone to spat out numbers or blah to come to that conclusion. Decided that all on his own.
