Its a 2004 Pro Team 175 with 50HP ELPTO. 70 yr old man bought to fish with his brother but he passed away and he said he never did fish again. Only took it out to ride once in a while. Says less than 10 hrs on the motor and the trolling motor was never even used. 2 fish finders, new ship to shore radio plus all the standard stuff for this boat. Came down from 9k to 6200. Sound fair?

The motor is on the low end of the hp scale for a boat like that but I would say that's a good deal for what you are getting.
That's a nice rig.
Have you priced a new one lately? $$$$$$$$$
How wide is that boat? It looks kind of narrow but that may be an optical illusion from oversized seats.

The same boat new is 14,500. It should still go about 30-32mph with the 50 on it. Here is specs from Tracker.

I figured that it must have been the oversized seats. That's pretty wide for a 17' boat of that style.
It's a dang site cheaper than the one I just bought, I can tell you that.
What are the decks made out of, aluminum or wood? It's an all welded hull, so that's a plus.

Decks are all aluminum. I keep sitting here and drooling over it lol. :D

Sounds like a good deal. I hope you didn't take too long to think it over.

What's the blue book value? That would help you determine if it is a good deal or not. Also, do some research on the net for the same setup and see what the going rate is. Looks like a sharp boat. You might be concerned when it was used last and whether the motor would be gummed up. If not properly stored or maintained that can be expensive to fix.

I looked up NADA and It was a little over 6500 I think. But I have seen similiar ones on the net seeling for 8k+ and 06's 07's selling for 11k or so still. Plus the boat is in Columbus and he was willing to help with the drive.

I think if I was looking for a fishing boat or trolling fishing boat I would buy it.

The one I have now is a 40 and it only does about 28-30 and it is fine for me. Im sure this one will be fine also as far as speed goes.

I have almost the exact setup only gray in color. My 50 hp will push 32 if trimmed right. It's as fast as I need to go. It is a very good boat, depending on what you want to do. If you crappie fish with long poles the storage of rods may become a problem because the rod box is kinda short. I wish there was a live well in the front, but that's okay, I can walk a few steps to get to it. I just catch so darn many it wears me out :D!

I think mine is an 05. Funny how I can't remember, it might be an 03 or 04. Regardless, they haven't changed much. It's well worth the asking price because it is a boat you'll have for a long time. If it comes with the Lowrance depth finder, they suck. I put a nice Humminbird on the trolling motor that I like much better. Good luck.

We got the Crappie series boat that is just like that one. Ours is only a 40 and it almost hits 30 but not quite but we dont need to go fast anyways. I know its easy on gas tho:) and its good to fish out of. Ive caught plenty off it:D

Here is some better pics of her. Caught several cats the other day but this guy was the biggest. A couple 10-12 inch laremouths too.
