September its 92 degrees, how long do you have to recover the deer before it spoils? Thats my #1 fear in hunting hot weather!! Or just not finding it period!!

I don't know how long until it spoils, but they have been deer hunting down south in near-100 degree early seasons for years.

Be selective and pass on not so good shots. A good hit in the boiler room...they wont go far. Other than that... be prepared when its hot. The time spent after locating downed game is important but give enough time after the shot. I think theres too many variables to say exactly how long.
In my truck...I carry a 120 qt cooler, lanterns, gabriel, rope ratchets, knives & meat saw. Everything I need to snatch the hide off and quarter. Usually just enough ice carried in the cooler for drinks but its enough to start cooling till I get somewhere to get more. A couple bottles of water comes in handy for clean up...along with a bar of soap in a zip baggy. All this stuff stays in there most of the season. I dont hunt close to home ..so I'm pretty use to haulin more gear than most.
Key thing... cell phone to call the deer in before quartering. That is something you can do while getting your wind after a long drag.

JD, what's a "gabriel"?
He probably means "gambrel", which is a hoist & skinning aid used to hang the deer by the tendons of their shanks. They look like a roof joist when viewed from the side. We sometimes call them a "Gabriel" also but the correct term is gambrel.

Rob hit the nail on the head... sometimes its better to overlook my spelling. I've made many for guys I work with out of cold roll stock. Many years ago we used a for real single tree used for hooking up horses or mules. The one I made is compact and specific for deer sized game.
Just make cuts in between the tendon and bone near the tarsal gland... slip in the hook on each side ... lift deer by gambrel with rope ratchets..come-along... 4-wheeler or truck. Deer hangs up-side down...start working skin off then quarter.
similar to these....
