Clean aluminum and shiny aluminum are normally 2 different things.

Most aluminum cleaners will turn it white and you have to use some elbow grease along with an abrasive polish to get the shine.

I saw pics on another website of a Tracker that a guy cleaned and polished. The thing looked like platinum when he was finished. It was unbelievable.

will that stuff eat up the decals on the boat? I was thinking I would have to use some rubbing compound on it or something to get it to shine. Quacker you remember what that site was where he had his pics posted?

Just out of curiosity, don't those Tracker boats have some sort of clearcoat on them?

give a good wash then a buffer with good car wax will work. just buy extra buffing pads it will shine like new.

WOW!!!! I almost fell out of my chair, I have that exact boat, 92 Tracker. I would love for it to shine like that. Looks like a lot of work though, initially and then maintenance.

I was at Stokleys the other day and one of the guys showed me a product to spray on the boat once you polish it. Supposed to keep the shines for 3-4 years unless you scratch it off or something.
