Went to lunch around 11:30, from the main highway you can see a road bed in the edge of the woods and every year I see a bird in that road bed strutting. This year I haven't until today, me a guy I work with had to run over to my parents house and this spot I'm telling about is on the way to there house. There was a big ol' bird full strut we slowed up and stopped in the road to watch him for a second he was about 150yds away stayed in full strut and goobles the whole time we were there. Don't know how long we were there b/c we were in the main road I would say close to a minute we stayed until I saw a car coming up behind us. I know others have posted about this same very thing but thought I would tell what I saw today, b/c all I have done is just been hearing them in the mornings and afternoons.
