Just got back from 12 Mile...

I caught this nice 2.2lb 17" smallie right at the bank using 4lb test. She hit 4 times before I got the hook set. She was so close to the bank, there wasn't much of a fight. Then I seen Sauger striking my rapala so Mike put on a small jig and caught his limit of Saugers and I took a pic of the biggest one. I had a very nice gar on but he threw the lure back at me and I had to duck, otherwise I'd have a face full of trebles. :D
Mike also caught a good size eatin channel which he is cleaning now. We are going back out to Eschens Nursery to see what the smallies are like down there.

Just got back from Eschans and caught a few smallies but nothing big and some pumpkin seeds for my aquarium. I caught the huge smallie below from Gun Powder, heck of a fight he put up on 2lb test :D

On my way out the door one last time to see if the carp are bitin and to see if the channels are smashing top water like last time, hope they are!

Didn't catch anything else, gills were eatin my bread before the cats got to it. Oh well, had a GREAT day
