I will try this again since the first one was removed. Why are the elk draw result's not posted on the kdfwr webpage like they were the previous years which included the name and location of the individual's drawn?

I don't know the answer, but I think it is respect for the winners privacy. Too many people have been harassed by various "sporting representatives", everything from "I have a place.... for a fee..." to "use my equipment" to "Can I go with you".....

If you want an answer, contact Tina Brunjes.

Listen, bud, limited elk draw results should be posted for the simple reason that it IS a DRAW. For deer hunting, you buy a license and a deer permit and you're good to go. Not so with elk; you have to buy a license, then a "lottery" ticket... and now... the draw results are top secret draw and we're expected to accept it and not ask questions?

C'mon! The last time I checked, state government has ruling authority only because it is empowered by the people to do so, and that includes the KDFWR. We don't need names, addresses or phone numbers, but we have a right to know the state, county, and city of the tag recipients, and whether the tag was for a cow/bull. There is NO argument that can be offered to refute the validity of the release of limited draw results.

you don't have to buy a license prior to entering the elk lottery drawing.

I take it you unaware of the deer quota tag system that many sportsman apply for to hunt many WMA's across the state?

Why don't you call Tina Brunjes in the morning and get your answers directly from the Big Game Coordinator rather than continue to beat a dead horse?

This is the place to post questions you may have for Fish and Wildife personnel to answer. Once again, this is NOT the place to debate Department policy, Commission decisions, etc.
