frog hunting with archery

Anyone else try it? I killed my first frog with a bow last night. With the decline of frog numbers, it adds a little sport to it and makes a few frogs go further. I've got some video and will try to post it when I get a chance.

what did it score?:D i started shooting them with a bow 35+ years ago. i used a recurve for years, then progressed to the compound. the recurve is much more fun. you get plenty of shooting in with a bow, thats for sure.

Oh Yea. I had bowhunted them a few years back, I'd take my wife & let her hold the flashlight while i'd plug'em. It' s a lot of fun. I quit after I got a backlash to the kneecap when the string got caught, only because I had a cheap set up.

How arrows did you lose?

I some with my longbow a few years agow. Haven't been since.. Lots of fun though.. Getting ready to start bowfishing.

we were using bow fishing setups. One guy tried his hunting rig with muzzys, 1 lost arrow, 2 total misses. He borrowed our rigs after that. Can't wait to go again...

Like to see the video. I have hunted frogs with slingshot when I was a kid, got pretty good with it to , but not bow, what kind of rig did you use target tip or broadhead? I have an old bow that I turned down and used some old arrows for shooting fish out of farm ponds I rekon that would work.

OK I just used old arrows when fishing the ponds, Kinda limits show far you can shoot out into the water, you get your knees wet for sure, I need to get some fishing arrows and a rig.
