How many of you like the group Casting Crowns?

I really like this group a lot and they have certainly helped me start each day off a little better by remembering to pray and read the Bible. Life is good with God in it:

I am more of a Southern Gospel guy but casting crowns has very good songs with very good messages.

They are my favorite christian group. I think that alot of people out there would listen to more christian music if they knew about how good alot of the newer bands out there are. Sounds great to go along with a great message.

I saw the Crowns in Rupp last fall. One thing about their music, you don't have to wonder what they're trying to say. They hit you right between the eyes with the message.

And the music just rocks. They could be a successful act in mainstream as well.

Contemporary Christian music is leaps and bounds better than it used to be 10-20 years ago. KLOVE is where my radio stays now.

We saw them in Frankfort 2 yrs ago. They were good and I didnt have to put in my ear plugs, but I like a bit more bite like Third Day, Audio Adreniline or Toby Mac.
The problem I have with KLOVE is they they play the same songs over and over year after year. Two much honey, and we got burn out on it, but its the same with most all radio stations.

I like them a lot. I either listen to contemporary Christian (Way FM is what we have here) or ipod hard rock. Varying tastes, not much in the middle, lol!

The Crowns will be at Icthus (sp?) at Wilmore this year. I've never been but the kids want to go this year.

Listen to them all the time. My son's school is doing a musical in a couple of weeks and they are doing some of their songs. Warms my heart listening to him sing along when one of the songs comes on the radio.
