I'm not sure that my 4wheeler gets better mileage than my truck does.:o

I agree about the mileage! Plus, those mudlites are mighty bumpy on paved roads.

Yeah knobbies would suck, but, stick some slicks on there and it would be cool. I can ride off-road for 2 hours hard on barely over a gallon of gas. It's legal in quite a bit of Europe.

I may freeze to death in the winter. LOL. Some Spring mornings are pretty chilly too. I'd look like Jim Carry on Dumb and Dumber when they get to Aspen on the moped.:D

I could ride for 4 hours HARD on my old 400ex on one tank of gas...and it would do well over the speed limit. I might just have to get a moped

That's what I've got, and yeah, they go forever on a tank. I have yet to run out of gas, and they only hold 2.6 gallons. I get too tired to hold onto the handlebars before I run out of gas. I'm good for about 3 hours, 2 if racing. I think they're supposed to get about 45 mpg if you're not going too hard, which is comparable to a motorcycle, and that's off-road with stock sprockets and knobbies. Stick on some slicks, a smaller sprocket, and get on the road, and I bet it's closer to some of these mopeds.

I actually rode mine to work last week one day, it didnt really take much longer than my truck does. I work in a coal mines and the road I drive is pretty curvey and i enjoyed it a lot more also, although i froze to death the next morning, i shower at work and my wife had put some of my 6 yr olds socks in with mine and i just grabbed a pair and guess what it was them so i rode home without any socks on.

I got an old 300 Fourtrax I used to trail ride all day long on one tank of gas. and it used to do 52 MPH! But it has seen its better days it is now my work horse. Now I ride a 350 Raptor. It'll do about 60 and still go about the same amount of time on a tank but I got to drive about 10 miles so I don't think it will work for me! And it getts a bit nipply in the winter for me! And the bugs in the summer are something else a 60 MPH horseFly kinda stings!

I can't stand either one! I know its dangerous but I smothers me out and if you got any sense cents at all its actually hard to roll one over!

Rolling over is hardly the only thing you need to worry about. I've wrecked HARD multiple times but the only time I've rolled one over is when trying to get a Rancher out of a ditch the size of a small creek real slow.

I've lost control after hitting a rut and smacked a tree then flew through the air, I've went over what I thought was a small rolling mound just to find out there was no back side to that mound and landed sideways so the four wheeler bounced out from underneath me and made me land on the ground on my side and I hit my head, I've hit some kicker lips where my back end bucked me 2' off the seat and could barely hang on, all kinds of stuff like that.

I ain't worried about rolling over, those are the easy wrecks, it's coming off the quad with no warning at high speed that hurts.

Sounds to me like you are raceing, and are on teritory you are not used to while flying. two things I don't do and no one should! but I know where you are comeing from. trails can wash out trees can fall causing new unnoticable obstacles. But I know I'm not wearing a helmet and probably wouldn't if it was illeagal. So I don't ride like a crazed maniac. I'm not the fastest thing through the woods and I don't ride for that I like to look at the scenry as I go and look for sighns of deer and turkey and such. no one will ever convince me to wear one!

I'm guessing its a toyota 2WD 4banger stick! Thats what I'd have if I had to drive a truck every day!

One of my friends has one and his is fast. I love that truck but we all call it a go cart its so little. Me and another one of my friends can pick the backend of it up and move it, weve done it before.

I like it...
The fatality rate would go up 1000% leaving many fewer
people commuting and more gas for the rest of us:D
