What are the best/most economical ways to kill 2 Acres of Fescue?

2 qts per ac of generic roundup will do it, but you really need to spray it a second time to get a total kill. You'd be suprised how what you think is a dead field of fescue can come back. Its $100 for a 2 1/2 gal jug at Tractor Supply or a feed store.

Ive read the "How to sticky" I just want more options. With as many people having problems with Fescue I would thinks folk on here would have come up with several GREAT economical options.

By the way thanks for the reply Al. I am killing this fescue to make way for a project inspired by your deer orchard.
