Guitar Amp Question

Has anyone ever had any problems with their guitar amps from playing a bass through it?

Let me give you a tip if you're going to do that... turn the bass down and put it on the distorted channel, rely on listening to the upper harmonics, and don't crank it up loud. I did that for a long time. Assuming it's a smaller amp, that will be fine for practice, but you're going to blow up your driver if you used it like a true bass amp. Used bass amps are cheap, you can get something like a Behringer 60 watt 12" for $100-$150.

Not normally......But I always specify water proof materials with my amps as the bass always seem to splash water on them!:D
