View Full Version : Warm Season Grasses
Where can you get warm season grass seed? I'm wanting to put a couple of acres in a spot between the woods and the house and just let it grow. Should I kill the fescue off first or just mow then burn? Thanks for the advice.

contact sharp bros. seed company in Missouri. You can find them online and they have about the best prices i've found. You need to spray the existing area u want to plant with a herbicide such as roundup. I mixed my spray with Pursuit and roundup per biologist recommendation and got a good kill on the existing fescue on my farm recently in Ky. You could burn off the existing dead grass before planting but its not necessary. hope this helps.
