a great day in the grouse woods

Yesterday was an awesome day in the grouse woods. in 5 hours me & 2 buddies had 14 points, 10 birds in the air & 4 in the bag. Happy gunning to all....G.G.

Ronnie I won't get specific, but I will say that it was on private land in the natural bridge vacinity.

It was all green. I dont know my small leafy vegetations that well. I just refer to it as "grouse salad" when I see it. one bird did have a few greenbrier berriies & one had some sumac, but they all had the salad.

2hunt game us the proper name for mountain lettuce,or grouse salad yesterday. Of course I've forgotten, but maybe he will share the name once again.[;)]
