new to turkey hunting. been hunting turkeys for a couple years. havent killed one yet, but have had my chances.
my son missed one this morning. will this turkey still be in the same area tomorrow morning? how will this effect him?

He won't abandon his home range. He may be somewhat leary of the location he got buggered. Best way to overcome that would be to change calling/set-up location a little bit & use a different call!

Have you been seeing a lot of birds?
I scouted before season for daughter and saw a bunch. Ist weekend she only saw 2 hens both Sat. And Sun.
She went again Thursday A.M. and saw 4 longbeards and left 3.
Her 1st. that she has called.

havent been seeing much. 2 or 3 hens are all i have seen. havent been out but a couple of times. threw my back out last week and am not getting around real good. my son missed one this morning. thats all hes seen. going to try it again in the morning.
