I have several buddies that have tagged out in Knott Co. this week. Almost all of them have moved in and gotten the birds fired up on the roost with really aggressive calling and toned it down at fly-down. I know of 5 gobblers that fell for this since Monday. Tomorrows my first day in the woods this season and I'll be trying it for sure.

Last tuesday the birds were hammering, even off the roost.I took my first gobbler with a bow.My buddies were fired up about hunting the next morning due to my report. They showed up the next two mornings to complete silence even on the roost! They hunted the same farm I did, we are on a hill top were you can hear birds along way off and none of them wanted to make a sound.Hard to believe that even if they are henned up no birds even gobbled on the roost. There has to be more to it, I sure don't know what it is though.

it's the same here in perry county, they are some that are gobbleing on the roost and when they hit the ground that's it not another sound.i went out yesterday and called in two hens but no gobbler with them.the day before heard two gobblers on the roost and when i called to them they shut up and later in the day i saw two groups of hens and no gobblers with either group.
