Switchback + Rage Broaheads = Dead Double Beard

This is a bird we called in Sun. morning in the rain. My buddy took the shot with his Switchback. This bird came in totally committed to whippin' the B-Mobile. To say that the Rage broadheads cleaned his plow would be an understatement. I think the pic pretty well speaks for itself.

This was a real hog of a bird, the longer beard was a little over 10" and the shorter one was right at 9".Check out how thick the base of the first beard is. Didn't weigh him but he was "full sized".Spurs were 1 1/2".Congrats Mike! After seeing that whole thing go down like it did, it certainly adds a whole new level of excitement when the shotgun thing gets old.......

Yes, that was partially why he brought the bow in the first place. We usually like to run and gun but because of the rain & cold I brought the blind and set it on the edge of a green field they like to strut. He figured if we we're gonna camp in one spot for awhile with the blind and dekes, may as well leave the shotgun and take the bow. I'll admit I felt like I was cheating using a scattergun after watching him clean his clock w/ the bow..........:D

Took my longbeard with a rage broadhead too, he never took another step, did some floppin though! Congrats- nothing compares tp taking one with a bow, just taking it with you takes guts.
