Got my first Turkey this evening at 6:30. 24.5 lbs, 7 inch beard and 3/4 inch spurs. Was hoping for bigger but couldn't turn this one down. Called him into 50 yards up on a ridge and he hung up there strutting in front of me for @ 15 minutes and wouldn't come in. After a few soft yelps he made his way to me from behind some small trees and took the lead at 30 yards. It was awesome to watch him strut and drum for that long.
