someone told me that u can hunt passed the red line down at rough river just wondering if that is true?

You can hunt "below" the red line if you have a hunting license.. You can above the "red line" with land owners owners permission.

right now the lake is way up. you might have trouble finding ground below the redline that is not under water.

Rough River is almost 16ft above summer pool. It would be very tough to find a below the red line area at this time.

definitely forget about the "redline" the lake is way, way up!!!!!

Have a place that borders the WMA at Barren and last year we would chase some down below the red line and had a few hundred more unpressured areas to hunt them from and ended up calling one up to the line for a buddy. This year, we might have had about 10 acres below the redline that was not flooded due to the lake being 12 foot over summer pool.

This year they might as well write you a ticket if they see you trying to hunt the redline for turkey, because the water levels are well above the line everywhere I have been and looked. It more than likely won't get below until well after the season at this rate. Think it will rain?
