missed this evening

i had been hunting all day and around 2 i had bout 10 hens come in and fed around for bout 2 hours and they started closing the distance to me and i notice one had a very good and thick beard. i let her get bout30 yards and just flat out missed her. i was hoping to go ahead and get that second tag filled so i could take some friends out and such but have try againg tomorrow.

A hens head and neck is smaller than a toms which might require 6 shot - I found that lesson out myself two fall seasons ago

I missed a Tom at 20yds in the dekes this morning.....then killed a tom 3 hrs later without dekes...

i know how the missin feels i missed one thursday evning about 40 yards first one iv heard gobble all season and i gota little trigger happy :D things happin tho
