Cornpile, I am sorry to learn of your Father's passing. I lost my Father back on August 30, 1984 at 10:45 am. He lost his life trying to learn how to drive a Tractor. Something went wrong and he fell off being ranover by a weed cutter. My Brother & myself were there to witness his accident. Also lost my Mother to Cancer back on September 20, 2006. Take care, and my prayers go out to you & your Family.

Hang in there buddy be happy for the time you had together. Some guys never get to grow up with the love of a father. It doesnt make it any more easy but just be thankful for the good times you had together. Prayers go out for your family in your time of Loss Im truly sorry.

Cornpile - I know that words cannot possibly express the loss you are feeling, but you have all of our deepest sympathies. I hold your father, you and your family in my prayers.
Only time will blunt the pain you are feeling, but just remember that none of us will ever escape death. All any of us can do is live our lives the best we can. Ironically, it is also a truth of life that the measure of a man's life is ofter reflected in the depth of loss felt by his loved ones when he passes.
Judging by your earlier posts, the world lost one of the "good guys" when your father passed. If nothing else, your pain is a tribute to him.
