I've got a question about the youth sportsman license. Does anyone know: If you purchase the youth sportsman license, which comes with one turkey tag for the youth, can you then purchase a second youth turkey tag, for a second bird, so the youth can hunt again later on?

Also, would it be legal for the youth (my son) to hunt on our land and kill the first gobbler and check it in with a property owner tag, and then kill a second gobbler later on and use the youth sportsman turkey tag?

I would really like to know because I bought the youth sportsman license for my 14 year old son, and I hope that I haven't limited him to only one bird this year by doing that....

Many Thanks in advance,

TT

the hunting on your own land question you asked the answer is YES
landowners and their dependant children can indeed just fill out a blank piece of paper and use as a tag...i also have the regular sportsmans license and am a landowner any deer i harvest on my own land i fill out my own tag
and other farms i would have to use the back of my sportsmans license

SO im 100% sure given the question you asked you could use a state wide tag then a LO if you needed too ((huntin upon your own land))
