I'm wondering what to wear inside the blind. Do you guys still wear camo shirts and head nets? Can the turkeys see thru from one window to another?

I always wear camo even in a blind. It just doesn't feel like your hunting unless your in camo from head to toe.
I went scouting this am for youth season before the heavens opened and I ran into 20+ Turkeys with a mixture of longbeards, jakes, and hens. We might not get one this weekend but we should have some action anyway.

Brewtus,
I generally just wear my camo along with my head net or something dark that will blend in with the inside of the blind. Also, I close the windows on the back side of the blind so the turkeys do not silhouette me if we are moving in the blind, etc. Under these conditions, you can get by with a lot of movement. Good luck!
Mason and I went scouting this AM as well, heard several gobblers on the limb but all got quiet when the rain started. The blind is ready and waiting assuming we don't need an ark to get into this spot.

I usally wear regular camo and head net in the blind -- I have the front windows open fully "screened of course" with my sides and back only enough to peep through or put the gun barrel at -- may or may not be necessary but why take the chance

I wear black from the waist up. I hunt out of a DB Matrix and have a pretty large opening in the front. Black really hides you when inside a blackend blind. If you have the netting up and don't get yourself backlighted, you can pretty much wear whatever you want.

i wear exactly the same in the blind as i do out of the blind,if u wear black i would suggest takin some camo just to be safe, cause you may have to get out of the blind to clse the distance or somthing.

I was worried about using a popup in the middle of a field while turkey hunting, then, it got really windy and the thing blew off the top of me and went flying through the field behind me. I had 3 birds in the field, and they didn't seem to care, came right to me and i picked one and finished out.

I would be nervous in the turkey woods dressed in black, even on private property.

Me too. No black, red, blue or white for me. I camo up as if I were running and gunning. I've had to leave the blind a couple of times to do just that if I couldn't get one to leave his hens. It's good to be safe and prepared either way.

I also hunt from a double bull matrix 360. I wear my regular camo just incase but from the waist up inside the blind I have a black facemask gloves and a light jacket. You can stand 10 yards away with a large opening in the front and not see a thing inside. The key is to never silouette yourself and you can do jumping jacks if you want. Great way to get a kid started and not have to worry about them moving around so much.

Turkeys have amazing eye sight, I keep all the windows behind me closed and the ones on the side fixed to were I can peep out of them. If you blind has a black interor I suggest you wear a black shirt, gloves, face mash and hat. This way you match the back drop making it harder for the bird to see you. Good luck and Good Hunting.
