never spring turkey hunted before and i am going this year. done some scouting and got my blind right on the edge of a field they use often, i was wondering on what kind of decoy i should use early season and late season.

i personally use the blow up decoys by Cherokee Sports" known as the call girl decoy they are the ones you blow up and look very very real the newer versions even have the molded heads they look 100% real

if they take a pellet simply put a piece of tape over the shot and your back in buisness they also fold up and can easily be carried in your pocket/or vest

In my opinion any decoy will work at any point during the spring season. I like two hens and a Half Strutting Bubba Jake decoy. Everyone is all about the B mobile and Pretty Boy strutting tom decoys. I'm content to use my unrealistic foam decoys. You can pick up a set of two hens and jake for about 40 bucks at the Basspro in Clarksville.
