Youth turkey tag

My son got the youth turkey tag with his youth sportman's license. I know that the bag limit for the youth tag is 1 turkey total for spring or fall, but can a youth buy a second tag in either the spring or fall to take a second bird? I don't see anything about this on the KDFWR site.

Im pretty sure thats the case. I just thumbed through the kdfw guide and couldnt find anything clear cut on this.

unless they changed things a youth is still able to take 2 spring gobblers
did they create a license that youths can only harvest one bird? i thought the statewide limit was 2 (spring)

Kids ages 12-15 are eligible to purchase a Youth Turkey Permit, which is valid during any turkey season for one turkey. Youth hunters must abide by season bag limits and harvest restrictions but can use the youth permit throughout the license year. The Youth Sportsman’s License includes one Youth Turkey Permit.

so my 9 yr old is lic exempt but what about tags?

The youth turkey tag ($10) is for 1 bird. You can purchase a second tag if needed.
