Well i got out today and i was in the right spot at the right time again...i had 5 jakes fly off of the roost and land 15 yards from me, followed by 15 hens... the came 2 toms. then about 5 minutes later i looked to my left and here come 3 toms and the bourbon red running from the woods stirght for me:eek:, the birds came within 8 yards the began to beat up on the jakes! i wasnt able to touch my camera for about 30 minutes... put i got a few really good pics of the bourbon red.... it was a unbeleiveable morning!!!!!!!

Really cool pics. I love the fifth one where you can see him blowed up in strut and it appears that those four longer jake feathers look white with the rest of the fan red. Thanks for posting.

Cool pics - may have already been asked but if you have the red come in at the same time a longbeard does which are you gonna take - I'm thinking with the red being a jake he just might come back if you bust a longbeard before him - the red is a trophy and it would be a tough decission

Gotta bow down dude, that was freak'in halairious!!! That made my day!! As for the pictures, Those are some great pictures and will make a fine mount!! Best of luck!!!
