Darius Miller and Mason Co. win another state championship

Just heard that future UK wildcat Darius Miller and the Mason County Royals defeated Covington Holmes for the state title. Teacher went to the game tonight, I'm sure he'll have the scoop on the highlights of the game.

I was pulling for elliot county but I knew mason would be the one to beat.... elliot county had em down but missed a couple key rebounds..

Should have went man, had great seats.. Plus, I sat next to somebody who wanted to meet you.. You might get a chance when we go to Rock Creek.. I told her where we camp at..:eek:

Mason got up to a 14 point lead at one time, but Holmes got it to four.. Pretty much too little, too late.. From there they had to start fouling putting Mason on the line.. The weird thing was their three point shooter Trevor Setty wasn't suppose to play.. From what I understood, he ran out on the court after a call from the bench during the semi final game earlier today.. Not sure how the rule stats it but some said it was suppose to be a one game suspension.. Anyway, he started during the final game.. Didn't really matter that much because he wasn't as effective as he was during earlier games..

Elliot was the only team that came close.. After that first round scare, Mason really turned it on.. They missed some key free throws in that game but was lucky enough to get the rebound to keep running the clock..
