I had to work tonight and tomorrow so my fiance went on back to Owensboro tonight by herself for the weekend. Well about 5 after 9 her mom calls me, I thought it was weird her calling me, but then thought something might be wrong. She said Angela was on the Natcher passing through Hartford and a car had been nearly running her off the road for the past 25 miles. The car was driving slow at first so she just went around it, next thing she knows the car comes flyin up behind her, nearly rear-ends her and gets in the other lane and almost side swipes her then gets infront of her and hits the breaks and slows down!! The windows were tinted in the car so she couldn't see who it was, well the car slowed to 50 so she went around them again only this time they floored it and tried not to let her pass, so she just lets them go and get way ahead of her. Next thing she knows she is coming over a hill and there they are going 50 again, she floors it this time and they do too,(by this time she is freakin out because she is alone on a lonely stretch of road with a maniac that nearly ran her off the road). This goes on for nearly 30 miles(this was all I knew till I actually talked to her after the ordeal was over) and the state troopers and Daviess County sherrifs are on the phone with her, she finally says screw it and put the pedal to the floor. She blows past them and leaves them in the dust, gets to Owensboro and the police tell her to meet them at a brightly lit gas station and to stay in her car right by the door until they arrive if she beats them there, next thing she knows a girl knocks on her door. She had no idea it was a passenger in that car and the girl looks at her and says "Nice driving, you are good"...of course my fiance says "what the h#ll are you talking about" The chick told her nice race on the natcher...my fiance loses....LOSES it. Told her that she was an idiot for trying to race somebody on a highway at night, when they had no idea who was in the car or anything and then says, "well, the police and state troopers have your license plate #, and are less than a minute away" The dispatcher says she can go on and head home since she was now safe and the police would get the car and call them later. Before I found out what had happened I was flippin out, after I got off the phone with her mom I couldn't get ahold of her because she was on the phone with police, I was going nuts just because I didn't know what all was going on. My heart was racing and I was ready to head that way!!! Those little dumb#ss girls are very very very lucky they didn't choose some little old lady with a gun or anybody else for that matter. I would have atleast chucked a 4d maglight at the car trying to get away before I pulled the 45 out!!! Anyway she is ok now and home safe....my blood pressure is returning to normal!!!
