I don't know how keen you guys are on FF, but the way the new animal torture law is worded, those who use an ear pinch or toe hitch could soon be Felons. Truth be told, we're probably not far from having the use of an e-collar called animal torture and we all be speding the next 1-5 yrs in prison.
Any thoughts?

They're not interested in protecting pets from mistreatment. They're goal is to end pet ownership. The authors of these measures object to all domestication of animals, period.

Its a real shame. I bring a collar or a lead rope out and my dogs are going nuts (excited.) They know they are going to get some attention and work. What some nut cases call my cruel our working dogs would call the best part of the day. You just can't make the anti people understand.

Below is a summary of a training seminar that was recently sposored by the HSUS......As you can see the agenda of the HSUS is to slowly but surely paint us into a box by taking one small step at a time toward the ulitimate goal of no sport hunting or pet ownership.
I have been very involved in opposing a major offensive put on by the HSUS over the last 2 years and I am currently involved in litigation that is going to continue for several more months if not years to finally resolve. It has cost dog owners in Jefferson County hundreds of thousands of dollars in lost wages and legal fees to turn back the HSUS agenda.
Fortunately we are luck in that dog owners are a very passionate group that tightens its ranks even tighter when attacked by animal rights groups. Ask yourself a question......If a Sunday hunting ban were to come to the legislature do "WE" as hunters have the organization skills and the monitary resources to campaign against an organization that has nearly $200 million dollars to wage war against us at that disposal?
Make the calls and put a stop to the Animal Rights agenda!
The following bills need your considerations:
SB 206
SB 15
HB 375
HB 42
HB518
SB 159
HB 39
HB 145
SB 58

(5) Activities of animals engaged in hunting, field trials, dog training other than training a dog to fight for pleasure or profit, and other activities authorized either by a hunting license or by the Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources shall not constitute a violation of this section.
Glad to see that for now, this is excluded. Wonder how long it will be until proposals are made to remove this provision.
