what do u guys think? i say they are in win or lose today, maybe a 9-11 seed. and oh art, looks like u were wrong again on your doom and gloom pre-season prognostication. i think u said we'd be .500 and not go to the big dance or something akin to that. our cats showed a bunch of heart this year playing with at least 1 hand tied behind their back the whole season (meeks), and now 2 (patterson).
on another note art, u schooled me AND maxcam by sticking with bradley throughout his career. what heart that kid has. he's way better than saul as a PG now....:)

Cats will make it...... probably as a 10-12..... every bracket you look at on the internet now has them in it, most have them as a 12

They are going to make it as a 12seed. Don't see them being any higher. Florida will be a higher ranked seed than us, and they have been terrible during sec play.

florida wont make it unless they play amazing in the SEC tournament...with their best non conference win over temple, and their 8-7 SEC record, beating none of the good teams. i dont see them in it

I was wrong and I proudly admit it! I give all the credit to Gillispie for turning this season around after being left with crap from Tubby. If he doesn't get SEC coach of the year I'll be pissed. Had Tubby still been here, we'd have been lucky to be .500.
Fact of the matter is that in December NOBODY thought this season would end on a positive note (probably not even Hickey:D), again credit G. I feel great about the future of UK basketball.
I will be the first to admit that I was ready to get this season over with after December. But now I hate to see Crawford and Bradley leave. I think I will miss Crawford more than any UK player not named Chuck.
I say we get in as a 8 or 9, UL gets in as a 3-5 depending on the Big East and Xavier gets in as a 1. What's that, they don't base seeding on ACT scores, I will change that one to a 3.
Just a guess...but I think the cats are in with a 12 or 13 seed. If they were to pull of a win or two in the SEC tourney, that will get better. Don't like our chances in the ncaa, but dang happy to see them pull something out of nothing this year. I haven't seen a UK team play this hard in a lot of years. man it was good to beat florida...been a while.
Oh, and I'm with therron...I don't think Fla. is in. They are NOW 8-8 in SEC play--- I'll say both 2007 finalists are out this year...florida and ohio state. Again....all this can change next weekend..but probably not too much.

With Back to Back wins against top 25 teams, the Buckeyes are in.

Flor has to do something big in the SEC tourny to make it. UK is in regardless of what happens, but their seed will be detrmined by the SEC tourny. They will get no higher than a 12, and most have them at a 9-10. Some say they could get as low as a 6 if they were to win the SEC. Lots of ball to play yet.
