Boy, leave it to the Democrat Party, they really know how to screw up and make a mess. If they would just follow some simple and fair rules none of this would be happening today. Instead we've had to go though hanging chads, recounts, allowing military to vote, banning millarty votes from being counted, trying to changing the Electional College, not changing the Electional College, going to the State Supreme Court, going to the US Supreme Court, now wanting to count the Supreme Court ruling, etc, etc.
This time they've screwed themselves yet again by changing the rules again. This time they are running their primmaries and caucuses under new rules that they put in back in 2005 and 2006.
The Democrat Party wanting to be the party of the liberals and the far left changed their rules to split the primaries and caucuses votes. They THOUGHT it would make them look better to certain people after they lost in the Electoral College in the General Election.
This split has made it impossible to have a winner for the Democrat nomination.
Take Wyoming. Obama won by a LANDSLIDE, a CLEAR winner. But under the Democrat rules he HAS to split the delegates with Hillary.
They have made it mathematcally impossible for one of them to win before the Democrat Convention.
Obama has 1578 delegates
Hillary has 1467 delegates
There are 588 delegates left
The winner needs 2024
If they split those votes there will NOT be a winner.
There is no way to make a split 588 delegates add up to a winner. But going by the Democrats record they will TRY to make those 588 delegates double or something.
You all think that is bad, that's not the worst of it.
The NATIONAL Democrat Party told each State Party they could hold their primaries within a certain time limit. Michigan and Florida went AGAINST their wishes and held their primaries earlier that the DNC wanted them to. Because of that the DNC will not allow their votes to count. Because of that Obama and Edwards did not run in those states, Hillary did and she won.
Michigan has 156 delegates
Florida has 241 delegates
Split them and Hillary is the winner but she will not win the NATIONAL POPULAR vote.
Now it looks like the DNC will have to change the rules yet AGAIN to come up with something for Michigan and Florida.
Several civil rights leaders have said on TV that if one wins the popular vote but there is a back room deal at the DNC that puts the other one the winner there will be trouble.
All the Democrats had to do was leave well enough alone and they would not have the mess they have today.
If they had spend as much time, enfort, money running under the old rules instead of trying to keep changing the rules they would have won for years but I think they don't understand that people can win in a FAIR game.
The Republicans on the other hand have not changed their rules on the primaries in 40 years and now they have their candidate and he's working on the General Election.
