Below is a link to a you tube video of a good friend of mine's blind GSP. It was just run on KY Afield Televison. It's a real touching story.

I seen it on KY afield myself and I have got to say that the story shows the true bond between hunters and their dogs. He could have gave up on the dog and replaced him but instead he stuck with him and they still have many more days together in the field. Its a good message to others that it is not about the numbers its about getting out there. I'm 38 and still can not watch Where the Red Fern Grows without getting all torn up. :( Great story and I hope they many more hunts together.

I was hunting with my newly bought dog back around a month or so ago, and I started up this little holler. I called for her and she never came. I knew something was odd because she minds very well. Well me and my buddy started looking for her. My buddy mentioned there was a well around somewhere close to us, and thats the first thing that popped in my mind. I kept hollerin and no dog. I heard her bark, but she sounded far off and a couple minutes later we located her. She had feel down in that well. I reached down and got her out. The look in that dogs eyes when she seen me just sent shivers down my spine. I believe we share a whole other bond since that moment. Call me silly, but she acts more pleasing towards me now.
