Besides the bank, where is the best place to buy checks? The bank wants $18.00 for 150 of the plain checks, I know there are other places to get them, but where?

Try Vista Print online. They do all my business cards, checks and supplies.

My wife usually uses one of the Check order form Company's that come in the Sunday paper. They are very good quality and reasonable in price. If you can't find what I'm talking about, when I get my paper tomorrow I'll take it out of the sale ad's and send it to you or look and see if it has an email address or web site you can go to. Let me know...:)

I'm with Big E. I've been ordering the Buckmaster checks for a few years now.

Are you ordering online or over the phone with that slip that comes with your checks? Try taking that slip to the bank and have them place the order instead. For some reason I ordered mine over the phone and it cost me full price($18) but when I give the bank the slip and they order for me it only cost me about $6

You can also go online to a place like Quickbooks and buy blanks and print your own,I printed my own companies payroll checks for years.
I ordered some from a place in Nigeria. I got a real good deal on them but I have yet to receive them.

You should have used FED-EX ,Art:D
That was a UPS joke.
You would have got a better deal in Libya from Kahdahfa (spelling)

Just quit writing checks, I now only write one check a month. I have been internet banking for a couple of years and it is great. I setup the accounts and logon a couple of times per month and pay my bills. If you have an expense that is the same each month, such as mortgage payment you set it up to pay automatically. Plus it saves on the cost of stamps!!!

I pay all my bills online too, but my wife is starting a flower shop and has to have checks for it. I still write a few checks, but not many.
