After many, many years of mink trapping with #1's and 1 1/2's foothold traps, Dad has discovered the effectiveness of 110's for mink. This particular mink was a result of us putting in a new drip on our natural gas line. Our backhoe operator had to dig through a giant briar thicket and the first thing I noticed was a very distinct trail running through and under the briar thicket. Dad put a 110 bodygrip and the trail and this was the result. He had a great year on mink, one of his best in years and they all in 110 bodygrips.

Do you or your Dad like the trigger pointing up or down? Thanks

We point the trigger down on the 110's, most of the time. Our temps fluctuate wildly during any given period during trapping season. I may be paranoid, but I could see where a 110 trigger mechanism could freeze to the ground during the night with lows in the teens.

Thanks, I spread my trigger as wide as I can, then thread so craft wire between. They don't see the thin stuff.
