My dad hit a black bird one time playin...we both stood in shock when it happened. It was sitting on a power line, the next time we played that course he hit that same powerline the bird was sitting, but dang, aimin for the bird!!

I agree, he done this on purpose in my opinion. After reading that article he must have hit 2boxes of balls at the bird, He deserves whatever punishment he gets he deserves. JMO

I agree, as a dedicated small game hunter, I think they should give him a tournament exemption or a bonus for killing a hawk, by accident or on purpose.

Yes, I know hawks are protected, but that doesn't mean they SHOULD BE. I support returning them to "varmit" status where they belong.

I think he deserves what he gets.

Hunters/outdoorsmen are always pointing out we are conservationists......until it has some affect on us (i.e. a hawk eating one of OUR rabbits). From my experience, most of those that shoot or bit@# about hawks couldn't BEGIN to tell you which ones actually feed on the animals we hunt. *News Flash* all hawks don't eat quail, and some are actually beneficial in that they help control small mammal numbers which do have a significant impact on quail populations (opposum, skunk, coon, etc...).

Those that blame hawks & yotes for all our small game problems are well behind in their understanding of the problem. As far as purposely killing one of natures coolest critters because it was interfering with your TV time.........enjoy the pokey.

Thats normaly not a problem with me but it's mostly the wrong green. It always seems to land on the green to the right. :D
