Just got back in from 3 days at the show. All I can say is thanks to Matt, Nathan & all the rest for having the show. Weather didn't help out a lot but still was a good show. Looking to doing it again next year.

Thanks guys! I think I've through every range of emotion you could go through this weekend after the weather we've had. I definitely feel the weather hurt us a bit but for the most part we had a great weekend. We tried some new things out this weekend that went over good and I think that over all we had pretty good results. I think most of our vendors had a good time and pretty good results also. The pocketbook will definitely be hurtin a little but that all goes with trying to get started in something new. Thanks again to everyone who braved the weather to come out. We are definitely planning it again!

We had one of the girls that took a bunch of pics, I'll try to post them in the next day or two. Hopefully that weather will cooperate next year!!

Matt
Like we talked you have to "craw before you can run". You all have taken the first 2 steeps. Yes you "fell" but you got up & did it again. I believe in a couple of years you are going to have one of the better shows in the area. I talked to a few of the other vendors & thy fell the same as I do. I have a couple of ideals for you if you would like to talk about them give me a call.

I attended the seminar by Stan Potts @ the show and I have to say that Stan is just like the rest of us ,just a good ol huntin' boy!!! The show was good overall. I would have liked to have seen more bucks mounts from that area of KY, but with that being said I'll be down that way next year!!

Thanks guys for all the good feedback. You have no idea how great that is after a long, long weekend. Also, it was Mike Casteel from London who won the Rhino. Seemed like a nice guy, I was glad for him. Anyone who went to the show have any suggestions for the next??

Yes, get some scorers who aren't scared of a little snow. What a bunch of pansies.

I was planning on coming Sunday and scoring but the massive snow had me shovelling my driveway and then building snowmen with the kids.

I really hate it that I missed the show, but I am like a lot of others, the snow had me trapped here in Northern KY. I am the gentleman that hosted the Lewis County Expo, and I personally know how much work goes into a show like this. Matt has certainly worked his butt off and when the weather is like that, it makes you sick at your stomach, literally. I know the week of my show, we had some freezing rain, and I was sick all week, thinking noone would be able to make it. Matt, if you could send me an email so that I can talk to you a little bit about next years show. Sounds like you had a really great show. Good luck in the future.

I know in my business I'm trying to "market" to the ladies. Think if you had somethings for them would be a big help. Most DON'T hunt but get to tag-a-long with hubby our boy friend. Something in the line of a Make Over our something like that for them.I have found if you can WIN the ladies over you will be able to Sell the Men easier.

as far as appealing to the ladies.... it would be neat to have a few massage therapists up at your show... you could offer like a 30 minute massage to whoever wanted it... LOL... Just an idea but ya never know... Or maybe do a raffle for something like that... ;)
