I hope you get to put that thing to the test!! I remember that big 19" Owensboro got about 5(?) years ago, it was right after I bought a brand new f150 4x4! Emergency vehicles were stuck on roads that have been plowed and I was driving to pick up friends on country roads that hadn't been touched like there was nothing on the roads. Now I have a ranger 4x4...hopefully I'll get to test it too

your ranger might be ok but you will need to add some weight in the bed between the axles

Yeah, I'm gonna test her out without weight first. It went through sloppy mud about 20" deep in 2wheel just fine, with me stoppin in the middle. But of course snow is a different monster, so thats why it needs to be tested:D by the way, I have some meaty tires on it that kinda help

people that call everybody " he " bugged me to no degree

By god, my friend just got a 2000 4x4 and just last night we drove right thru a lake. It was only 3.4 feet deep, but we plowed right thru it. THey are the small truck ever. You dont need weight in the back they go good with out it. Im headed out now to go drive in the snow with my 99 4x4 RANGER! and do donutes at walmart er somthin.

a number of posts sing the praises of ranger's and they are a good truck but their back -end are on the light side and will squeal tires when turning corner in a light rain, go too fast and you will turn around on a DIME, hope nobody are tailgating you if it happen

Is this english?:D They are a little light in the rear, in my 2 wheel drives I used about 100lbs of sand bags. To tell you the truth, my f150 squaled the tires turnin on wet roads alot easier than my ranger, not just cause of the power difference either.

Haha...I take very good care of my vehilces, sometimes you just have to make sure the vehicle can live up to its name:D All the vehicles I have ever had still run like new to this day, even with over 200k miles. Now my f150 doesn't run, but that crackhead that set it on fire might have had something to do with that one.

Yes, it resulted in a size 13 boot print in the bed of a ranger and a cell phone exploding when it hit the pavement at around 75mph...
