Thanks in advance.

Yeah, forget about Ontario and head to Alberta. Two bear limit and they are a lot bigger.

Duster, they left out the most important part on that website......the price! What would it run a fella to get him a bear? And would they give me a discount if I wanted to use a switch instead of a gun? :)

Medic I'm not sure what Debbies prices are at this time. I haven't been there in a few years. A phone call or e-mail will get a quick responce I am sure. I think the last time we paid around $1,200 and that included the licence. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for and this gal runs a first class operation. The spring hunts are in a area bordering the Duck mountain provincial park and that area is not hunted in the fall hunts so bears have plenty of time to grow quite large. I have gone on a couple bad hunts up that way with poor outfitters till we found Debbie. The baits are kept up, stands in good shape, she provides a 3 or 4 wheel atv to each hunter to access the area of the baits. We went with one outfitter who wanted you to walk two or more miles in and out each day and then complained we left foot prints in the logging road because someone might find his bait sites. I felt like I was tresspassing on a place I didn't belong. I can tell you this, Debbie and crew will work thier tails off to make sure you get a chance at a good bear and better people I have yet to run across.

Check out All Star Resort. I have booked hunts for them for the last 4 years. The groups I have taken have shot about 80 percent with almost 100 percent sightings. The bear are not huge but you can sure see plenty. The largest we have taken was a 280 last season with the average being 150 to 200 lbs. They are located in Madawaska Ont. just beside the Algonquin park. There hunts will cost you around 1000.00 U.S,for a seven night six day stay.I would recommend them to anyone. They are a great bunch of people who try to make your hunt enjoyable in every way.You also may use archery or rifle during your hunt. Will be glad to give you more info if needed.

Thanks Duster, that don't sound like too bad of a price, including the 4-wheeler and all.
