Just to let you all know,,, If you draw social security, you can still get this refund from the I.R.S.. I just filed online and I get $600 back.

You have to file to get a check...I haven't filed yet though. Plan on doing it this next week I'm off work and school.

It's more than that. People on SS and disability do not normaly have to file each year but if they want to get a payment they MUST file.

Yeah my mom just filed hers so she could get a check. Alot of people don't know they have to file, I think I read somewhere that the IRS is actually sending out letters to people letting them know that though?

Is there any way we can stick this to the top for a few days to help some people with loved ones who are on SS and disabliity??

Most tax preparers are providing this service for free for those who usually do not have to file.

Sorry I am so late getting back on here, I used Turbo Tax online and it was free to file.
