Looking to outfit a new bow and looking for input on quivers. 1 or 2 piece, take it off or leave it on in the stand, pro-cons, etc. Thanks!

Scott, I chose a 1 piece quiver because I like to remove it when I am hunting from the stand or blind. My bow is more balanced with it removed.

I agree with Raven, I prefer a one-piece because of the balance issue. The last 2 yrs i have shot with a 2-piece and have been very satisfied.

OK let me put another spin on this. Instead of attaching more junk to your bow, anybody using a back/hip quiver?

I use a Alpine one piece. It is easy on and off, quit, and only holds 3 arrows so it is lite and not very bulky. In the past I have used and still do use sometime a "cat quiver" it is a backpack with a built in quiver. Very nice and practical but was a little pricey. I have been considering going back to it and probably will for 08 season.

I am also shopping for a new quiver for my Mathews DXT. But in the past I have used both a 2 piece and a one piece that you can take off while hunting. I like them both I suppose. But I think im going to get a one piece easy detachable. It just makes me feel more comfy in the stand with it not on there. Plus you dont get the vibration out of the arrows which makes the bow a little more stealth when shooting. Its all in what YOU want!
