Just wondering what everyones favorite bass bait was.
Mine is: 1. Lucky Craft Pointer 65SP, American shad, or shell white.
2. Mepps Comet
3. Blue Fo Vibrax minow flash

I am by no means an accomplished fisher. I fish farm ponds for bass most often, but I really love casting a texas rigged plastic worm. Its worked the best for me.

Give me a Blue & Black 1/2 oz Jig or Green Pumpkin with either an original # 11 Uncle Josh Pork frog or a baby paca craw for the trailer.......:)

If we are talking big lakes, I like a crankbait. It covers lots of water in a short amount of time.

I think you should be a Lucky-Craft spokesman! You seem to really like those things from your other posts.:D

I have never tried them myself, but I would like to try that jointed minnow a time or two.

Lucky Craft Sammy is hands down the best topwater bait I've ever used, period and one of the best of any bait. Still, the spinnerbait is, imho, the best all-around bait ever made. It can be fished on top, on bottom and anywhere in between.

I here the jointed ones are junk They are held together with small wire or something and they break quite often.:( But I love the regular one. I would like to try that bevy shad though!

I will say those Sammys look great in the water but it is a little rich for my blood. I have to say soft plastics are my favorite with spinners as a close second......

I used to NEVER pick up a jig/pig, but I have learned that those baits can produce BIG fish, so I taught myself to fish with them and have had great success in the past 5-6 years.

Another bait I have had really great luck with in the past year or two is Rapala's jointed shad rap. I have several different colors. Rapala makes some sweet baits.
