Hi Joe, actually there is a story behind him. It was November 17, 2006. It was a Beautiful Day to hunt here in Pike County. Right before day break seems like everything was sturing except for the deer. I bet i had 50 turkey come past me. Anyway it was 8:20 and i had not seen a deer, so i decided to pick up the rattle horns. As soon as i quit rattling i seen something come running up the point. It was him. He actually when straight up the point and came in behind me. So i had to turn around and take a off handed shot of about 80 yards or less. Well i picked out a spot and pulled the trigger. Well the buck just stood there for a second and then she started stumbling. Well this was my first decent buck so i got on the phone and started calling everyone. Well after i called everyone in Pike County i went up to see him. When i got up there, no buck. I didn't find blood hair or anything. So i walked back down to where i was at to make sure i was looking in the right spot. I walked back up and looked and still nothing. So i started walking to my right and about 40 yards he jumped back up. I started running after him, lol Well he made it about 30 more yards and turned around and looked and i let him have it. I had actually just clipped his leg the first shot. I was really lucky to have got him. My 07 buck actually scored more than him. The 06 Buck was hurt on spread wise. He was only 14 inches outside and didn't have much of a tip to tip spread and the inside spread wasn't much either. But he was my first decent buck. Well thanks for the comments
