I know it is a little late in the year, but I need to come up with 2 8-9 lb foxes. Any of you trappers have a couple on the freezer you would be willing to part with? I prefer them to be whole and unaltered.

I'd say most people skin the foxes they catch on this site. If you'd been just a couple weeks earlier, you'd been in business.

Might want to contact company like , Moscow Hide and Fur.
They deal with buying and selling "taxidermy quality" hides complete with feet.
About any thing you want, greys, reds, swift, etc.
Or keep your eyes open for "road kill" now that "trapping season" is over.

I picked up a road kill grey last summer. Thought I did a good job af checking it's freshness before I threw it in the back of the truck (with camper top). Got to our destination and opened the top to show off the fox I had found and the smell about knocked us all down.

Don't really need taxidermy worthy specimens, just ones that are still ind ecent shape. I have three in the freezer, but they are starting to get a little rough after a years worth of training. These will be used for training and testing our dogs on the retireve of furred game.
